Mazola renovates the bathrooms in Mario Catarino Rivas Hospital
Mazola, the fat and oil brand prefered by Hondurans, handed over the renovation of the Maternity Ward of the Mario Catarino Rivas Hospital (HMCR), with will benefit approximately 480 women who are treated monthly in this ward.
Thanks to the donation of Mazola, walls and suspended ceiling were restored, anti-slip ceramic floor was mounted, 4 panel-type lamps were installed, 6 bathrooms with fluxometers, 4 valves, 4 showers, 4 trap drains, 2 thermally wrapped metallic doors, a handicapped ramp, drinking water and wastewater pipelines, 20 bathroom security bars, 10 inside doors, 4 air extractors, 8 sink faucets with metallic reinforcement, 6 water strainers in the shower zone, exterior paint and labeling.
Mario Alejandro Gamero, Mazola’s manager, expressed: “We are very happy for contributing to improve the conditions of the dear Mario Catarino Rivas Hospital, our engagement as the population’s favorite brand is to give back this choice through our Social Action. The renovation of the Maternity Ward’s bathrooms is the beginning of the many contributions which we will carry out as a socially responsible company”.
Doctor Ledy Brizzio, executive director of the Mario Catarino Rivas Hospital, highlighted that “this donation is very valuable for women who are treated in this hospital’s Ward. Our most sincere gratitude to Mazola for extending its Social Action to our Maternity Ward”
On her behalf, Marialex Boesh, representative of the Mario C. Rivas Hospital Foundation, remarked that “we are heartily grateful for this contribution due to the fact that every woman who visits the Maternity Ward in the HMCR will use these bathrooms in a secure and dignified way, we deeply value Mazola’s donation and we invite the population to continue to prefer this brand”.
During the opening of the new construction the “Mamá Mazola” was rewarded, María Elizabeth Gómez, chosen between the patients in the Maternity Ward while giving birth to twins, after a socio economic study, in the context of Mother’s Day, who received baby care items and a provision of Mazola products for the remainder of 2018.
