At Dinant we are committed to the sustainable development of each of our interested parties. Through the Community Relations Program we carry out activities that are focused on respecting our environment in order to positively impact the lives of people in our neighboring communities.
We work together with communities, local government, NGOs, among others, to produce economic, social and environmental value through 4 priority areas of action:

We are aware of the important role of education in the development of boys and girls in our communities, which is why at Dinant we carry out different actions focused on reducing school dropouts. In addition, we invest in infrastructure projects in order to offer spaces that are ideal for children and teachers in the communities.
We contribute to improving the quality of life by supporting the health and nutrition of the population through training and development of activities in conjunction with municipalities and health departments by holding fluoridation days, health fairs, fumigation campaigns, among others.

We work on a training program to strengthen the capacities of our community leaders and also promote respect for Human Rights in a responsible environment for all, ensuring sustainable development.
All our actions are framed in the fundamental principle of sustainable development, where the efficient and responsible use of resources allows us to satisfy the needs of the present, without compromising natural resources that belong to future generations.
Under this philosophy we work together with communities through training on the importance of the environment and conservation of ecosystems. In addition, we constantly carry out reforestation days in each of the sites where we operate, and together with the Municipal Environmental Units, recycling fairs are coordinated in educational centers and other activities that help us fight climate change.
